Mission
The pleasure of Allah (God) through our sadaqah, tazkiyah through selfless acts, and dawah as a result of our collective public efforts.
Vision
To create an active Muslim volunteer presence in the community and inspire our youth by setting an example through our actions. We want to be a group that not only carries our beliefs in our hearts but also implements our beliefs with our actions. To demonstrate our values, we actively engage in volunteer activities with local organizations that align with Muslim principles. We see volunteer work as a powerful form of dawah.
Muslim Volunteer Program is a registered 501 c 3 non-profit.
ENVIRONMENTAL WORK
We are passionate about protecting nature and improving local green spaces. Our volunteers engage in various environmental projects at local parks, including removing invasive plants, planting trees, maintaining gardens, and performing basic park upkeep. We believe that caring for our environment is integral to fostering a healthier, more beautiful community.

Removing harmful things from a path is an act of charity.
If a Muslim plants a tree or sows seeds, and then a bird, or a person or an animal eats from it, it is regarded as a charity for them.

HUMANITARIAN WORK
MVP (Muslim Volunteer Program) is dedicated to humanitarian work, focusing on supporting our neighbors in need. We collaborate with organizations like Feeding Tampa and various foster care agencies to address crucial needs in our community. Our efforts encompass:
Food Security: We believe that access to healthy food is a fundamental human right. Through partnerships with Feeding Tampa, we work to ensure that nutritious food reaches those who need it most.
Support for Foster Children: We are committed to enhancing the lives of children in foster care. Our campus beautification projects and other initiatives are designed to create a welcoming and supportive environment for these children, reflecting our belief in the importance of caring for and nurturing their well-being.
By combining our efforts in these areas, MVP strives to make a positive impact and contribute to the well-being and dignity of those we serve.
